Neogen Code 9 White Sparkling Cream

I have been on the prowl for hydrating and lightweight day and night cream since last year and I stumbled upon this product and at that time I didn’t realize it was a limited edition (if only then I would’ve gotten more) and you know since its blue I really wanted to get it. I didn’t really know what to expect, but when I started using it I just kept loving it as it did it’s job, it’s non-sticky and it’s blue 😀

Product claims:

A creamy aqua base formula, enriched with white capsules that boost up vitality and lighten dull complexion.
It’s uniquely designed capsules burst when applied and penetrate deep into skin providing clarity and moisture.

Smell:
Smells like lime.

Texture: Watery gel like texture. Very smooth.

Packaging:
Really big, white, hard plastic tub. Kinda feels heavy too.

My experiences

Upside:

• It’s light blue! 😱
• Smells so refreshing. Like lime soda.
• It didn’t cause any irritation.
• It had this tingling sensation, but it goes away after a while.
• It’s easy to spread.
• Very lightweight. It feels like I have nothing on my skin 👍
• It becomes watery when I started massaging it on my skin 👍
• Absorbs fast and dries fast.
• A small amount of product is all I need to cover the entire face.
• Tightened my pores 👍
• It isn’t sticky at all 👍
• It’s not oily before or after it dries 👍
• Immediately brightens up my skin.
• It made my skin feel cool and refreshed.
• Really great with deep hydration.
• Immediate effect: the claim about lightens dull complexion is true 👍
• A little goes a long way with this product.
• It made my skin semi-matte.
• My skin feels so fresh when I use this 👍
• Long term effect: Less oil production on my t-zone, the deeper layers of my skin feels hydrated, brighter stone, and pores are tighter even during hot days.
• I sometimes use this over a face oil and it doesn’t feel messy and greasy and it looks like it’s helping the oil be absorbed faster.

Neutral ground:

• there’s a little tingling on the skin, not all might like it, but it goes away in a snap.

Downside:

• It was limited edition 😐 now I can’t get another one.

 

APPLICATION:
On the last stage of skin care, dot it on your face and massage it in.

TIPS:

• Use sunblock after using this product.
• Can be used day or night.
• For hot and easily irritated skin, you can use this to cool down and help your skin calm a bit.

I found a new favorite hydrating cream 🤓 but dangit they don’t make this anymore. Why Neogen? Whyyyyyy???
